Curriculum
CURRICULUM
The curriculum in IDTC Career Center’s dental assistant program focuses on the clinical and administrative aspects of working in a dental office setting, immersing you in the practical aspects of providing dental patient care in a hands-on environment. Upon completion of this program, graduates can take the Registered Dental Assistant Certification Exam through the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners to qualify for employment in this field.

WHY SHOULD I BECOME A DENTAL ASSISTANT?
One of the most convincing reasons for choosing a career as a Dental Assistant is job security. A successful dental office simply cannot function without a Dental Assistant, so this role will continue to be highly sought after for the foreseeable future.
